This photo has stirred up a considerable amount of controversy, more so than any other piece of artwork I have uploaded. I guess I am glad, at least it's having an impact on people. But it amazes me. I take a picture of a flag, naturally juxtaposed with a few other elements (note that this was exactly as I found it, I in no way manipulated the scene), uploaded it here with a (purposefully) vague caption not stating any sort of political stance, and yet it seems some people are in outrage. And it interests me further how all the outrage seems along the same sort of vaguely psuedo-patriotic, how dare you insult My-Country-Tis-of-Thee-Oh-So-Free-Now-Let's-Go-Slaughter-Some-Injuns, all-following, Orwellian dream vein.
So enjoy the controversy.
