At last, an un-cryptic, non-emo post. huzahhh

So yeah.
I'm going to prom tommorow
With my friend Katie.
Cause she needed a date.

Chya.

She keeps trying to hook me up with some 18 year old guy i've never met and i'm like "uhmmm no thanks". I don't think she gets it >_<

But yeah. I'm going. Hooray.

IN ANOTHER NEWS
I like lists.
So here is a list, sort of.
Of things I'm semi-obsessed with right now:

PHOTOGRAPHIC:
Medium Format, Portra film, sub-f/1.8 lenses (f/1.4, f/1.2), Photographs of chairs, window lighting, film, Portra 400 pushed to ASA 1600, et cetera

CLOTHES:
Ties (esp. shiny/silver ones, and esp. if they're skinny-ish), Aviator sunglasses with brightly colored frames, painting on otherwise boring clothing with paint pens and/or glittery fabric paint, letting other people paint on my otherwise boring clothing with paint pens and/or glittery fabric paint, hats, necklaces, et cetera

SOCIAL:
High fives, hugs (that has a permanent spot)

MUSIC:
Union of Knives, "Timebomb" by Beck, Remixes, Covers of Rap songs by people-who-you-wouldn't-expect-to-cover-rap-songs and/or Screamo bands

...And so on...

Oh and I ended up coming out to my Mom yesterday.
Yeah.
She ended up dragging me with her to an appointment with her... with a therapist/shrink/something. And asked me. And yeah.

Actually the exact words she used were
"Are you... a homosexual?"

Well that's fun.
She's not throwing a party about it or anything, but she's not taking it too bad

Have fun at prom! They can be a lot more fun than you think if you just don't worry about anything. Lol. Does that make sense?

Congrats on coming out; I know how hard that can be. <3 Hopefully your mom takes it well even after her initial shock.

lmao, during our lunch break for my show, my friend was walking down the street to subway with another friend beside him. They both had their stage makeup on and they both have their hair styled and spiked up around the place

and some randon guy was like "NICE HAIR FAGGOT"

yeah, it was pretty funny cause both of them are SO straight and they were also surrounded by girls (who are the majority of the cast of the show im in) hahaha.

Good for you for coming out. I guess it's good that it was only awkward (except for the cheesy therapist part). Although if you were trapped in an evangelical household/community, you could channel Pat Robertson and conduct a straight-a-thon. "God has promised to make me straight if I raise $10 million dollars. Praise Jebus!"
